Director of The Age of Stupid, Franny Armstrong in Q&A with Patrick Hazard, LIDF Director
Franny Armstrong’s latest film The Age of Stupid, a mixture of documentary and fiction, filmed on location in America, the UK, India, Nigeria, Iraq, Jordan and the Alps, looks at climate change, oil, war, politics, consumerism and, of course, human stupidity. Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?
Followed by a discussion with Patrick Hazard, LIDF Director, Franny Armstrong will also join us for the screening at Curzon Soho on Saturday 28 March at 16:00.
