Who is it Aimed At?
The Mentor Scheme is aimed at emerging director and producers who have a specific project on which they’d like some dedicated support. The purpose of the scheme is to offer support and to create an intimate, sharing environment in which the filmmaker will grow in confidence and find the skills required to unlock their potential and move forward in their careers.
The Mentor Scheme is designed to work on-line and with creatives at all stages of their development. It offers one-off consultations or prolonged work extending over weeks or even months.
Projects at all stages of production can benefit although our emphasis is on the crucial early stages of concept, story research, and development. We are particularly keen to support film projects that draw attention to human rights issues, development, environmental protection and social justice.
