LIDF Founder Membership
Congratulations on becoming a Founder Member of the LIDF.2.
The new directions the festival is heading in are exciting and will offer great opportunities for filmmakers and distributors. With your input and ideas we will be able to develop further additions to the festival and more exciting initiatives.
As a Founder Member you will be consulted from time to time on new developments and you will also have a permanent space within the LIDF website for your own profile and work to be displayed. Rather like having a new second website for yourself, with the added bonus that it will be viewed by the high-internet traffic the LIDF generates and we will regularly highlight individual filmmakers on the home page. If you have new projects, or want to seek advice, if you are looking for partners, let us know and your needs can be presented to the LIDF members who we are sure will be full of good advice and assistance.
We will continue to think of new ways to make the LIDF community a busy and exciting one. And, we hope to see many of you at our live events starting next January in London and Paris. But, even if we do not see you in person the membership is about dialogue and there will be monthly opportunities for you to vote on new films and offer contributions.
What will now happen is that we will send you a (not very long) form asking a few more questions about yourself and your interests. It is not too demanding. Then we will build your basic page for you and give you a password. With the password you can then add to your page and upload material in your own time. We will not publish any pages until you give final approval.
Once again, many thanks for joining the LIDF.2 as a Founder Member. We trust it will be a rewarding project for us all.
