Towards the end of the seventies, the militants of MIR exiled in Europe, decided to return to Chile in order to support the fight against the military dictatorship. Many had children and couldn't return with them. So, the idea of a community center to shelter these children was born. A unique project called Project Home is born. Twenty adults assumed the care for 60 kids whose parents have returned to Chile. For many years Project Home is home for these children. Then, many years later one of these children picks up a camera to tell this story. Children and parents reflect on the sacrifices that were made for the political struggle. A film about politics and choices, about living for the moment and what seems to be the greater good, and, living the consequences. The youthful radicals are now older and confront their younger idealistic selves, while the try to understand and reconcile the loss with the evident understanding and love for their parents.
